Our Guardian Blend contains essential Cinnamon, Cloves, Rosemary, Lemon and Eucalyptus oils and Olive oil.

It is has an uplifting aroma and has antibacterial and antiseptic properties. Great to have by your bedside or in a room in the winter months especially to purify the air in your home. It is a great immune booster as well.

The jar can scent about 200 square feet and if left open all the time will last about 6 months. If used at night and covered in the morning it can last between 12-18 months of use.

Whats with the name?

While there are a few versions of the story they all center around one event, the Bubonic Plague. It is said that, during that time, four thieves went from house to house to rob those who had succumbed to the illness. After the thieves were captured and tried for their acts of robbery, a judge offered leniency if they would share how they were able to be around those afflicted long and often enough to rob them but not be affected by the illness. It’s interesting to note here that, during this time of the plague striking Europe, physicians were seen wearing long black robes, wide brimmed hats, and masks that appeared to have a beak. The reason for doing this is that the masks were said to have contained a combination of herbs, spices, and essential oils that the physicians would breathe in order to keep themselves safe from those afflicted with the illness. Their long black robes were also said to be doused in a similar fragrant concoction and current research continues to build upon this theory.

Not the same as before

My ingredients that I purchased at the market many months ago says:Essential Cloves, lemon, cinnamon, rosemary, eucalyptus oil, organic beeswax, and vitamin E. Would love to know why the change and understand why the name change as well. Too bad it has changed as I like what you have made and cannot guarantee I will like the same with the olive oil . If you state it's good for respiratory, it's a pity that there is no eucalyptus oil as that would have been essential for that... too bad.

Great product

I have an autoimmune disorder affecting my lungs, and am prone to respiratory and sinus issues. I have found that opening the jar and using for around 2-3 hours before bedtime, helps to clear my sinuses and I have had no infections, since using. Due to Covid I am not going out unless necessary, but I do believe this blend helps.

Not As Sick

Every time a flu or cold comes around, I have usually been one to catch it. However, one winter when I was doing rather poorly, I snagged up the Thieve's Blend at a kiosk in a mall in Chilliwack. I have been cautiously exploring the use of essential oils and herbs for wellness. So I did have my reservations.

I began using this blend in my bedroom at turns of the seasons, when I typically would catch something, and have been sick a far lot less since utilizing it. Whether this is because the blend works or some other coincidence, I cannot say with confidence. Which is why I only give 4 out of 5 stars because there is a margin by which I may misunderstand the results. But unable to think of any other reason for a boost to my immunity, I am willing to lend this ancient blend the credit.

I just want to add that using the sponge is ingenious. My sister and I have bought a few different diffusers, some that use the heat of a candle, some that use electric heat, and some that just agitate and spray without heat. But for the most part, all required either access to an electrical outlet or the disconcerting hazard of an open flame. This, however, is highly portable and no fuss to set up. Just pop off the lid (and make sure to put a coaster or something down to protect the furniture). Although sometimes I may still put a fan behind a jar to more quickly distribute its aroma.
